Established and led the Consumer Program at ONC, which uses policy levers, technical standards, and public outreach to enable consumers to get and use their own health information electronically. Led the Blue Button Initiative, a public-private partnership which increases consumer access to data, in close collaboration with the White House, federal agencies, and more than 500 private sector organizations including health plans, health care providers, pharmacies, technology developers, and patient advocacy organizations.
